Our Farm

At Sisterly Farms, everything began with a simple need: better eggs.

Grocery store eggs just didn’t sit right with us—literally. They lacked freshness, flavor, and made us feel... off. So my sister and I decided to try raising a few hens of our own, just for our family.

What started with five Rhode Island Red hens quickly turned into something much bigger. As our flock grew, so did our curiosity and love for raising happy, healthy birds. Before we knew it, our kitchen counters were overflowing with golden-yolked eggs, and we found ourselves exploring local farmers markets to share the abundance.

That’s when Sisterly Farms was born.

Our Hens Live How Nature Intended

Our hens roam freely on two open acres of pasture, where they spend their days scratching, pecking, and foraging for bugs, worms, beetles—and the occasional cicada. Their diet is supplemented with clean, 100% non-GMO feed and plenty of fresh water. On especially hot days, we spoil them with their favorite treat: watermelon.

At night, they return to the coop and settle in on their roosting bars, safe and cozy until they head back out at sunrise for their next adventure.

We believe that happy hens make the best eggs—rich in flavor, glowing with golden yolks, and filled with everything nature intended.
