FAQs
Are your eggs really pasture-raised?
Yes! Our hens roam freely on over 2 acres of open pasture every day. They forage for bugs, scratch in the dirt, sunbathe, and enjoy fresh air. This natural lifestyle contributes to the rich flavor and golden yolks in our eggs.
What do you feed your hens?
Our hens eat a 100% non-GMO, all-natural feed, in addition to what they forage on pasture—like worms, beetles, cicadas, and their favorite treat: watermelon. Their diet is what makes our eggs nutrient-dense and truly delicious
How long do your eggs last?
Unwashed, pasture-raised eggs can last up to 3 weeks unrefrigerated or up to 2 months refrigerated. We recommend refrigerating for best freshness—especially during summer months or if eggs have been washed
What is Feathered & Unfiltered?
This is our weekly peek into the wonderfully chaotic life of Sisterly Farms. It’s heartfelt, it’s hilarious, and yes—sometimes a little unhinged. Because when you live with chickens, the stories write themselves.
